Spud Grub
« on: July 21, 2022, 17:59 »
Evenin' All
Dug my first spuds this afternoon (variety Foremost) and amongst the pickings was one that had holes in it and when cut open revealed a nasty looking spud and a little critter nestling therein. Any ideas what it is and why it's in there? Is there likely to be an epidemic? I grow the spuds in a raised bed. Have had trouble with wire worms in the past, but this is the first time I've seen this. Pix attached.
