Whats your mind image of the forum :D Mine is that its like a big soft warm cardigan that gives me warmth and confidence when asking questions about the hens, it is always there when I need it, surrounding me and my hens with friendship :D  :D
Happiest in the countryside.
Breathe deeply, and let the butterflies fly in formation!

What a lovely analogy! I feel the same...a place where you can express the joy and sadness you get from your birds and...no-one will laugh! Everyone understands because we're all potty about our little charges!
I also have images of people in my head, developed from their avatars!

It really is nice to find people who understand the joys of hen keeping.

I live on a housing estate and a lot of the people around here have never even seen an live chicken let alone thought of keeping any.  They just go    when I talk about them.

So keep your bums fluffy and your combs proud  8)

:D I imagine a lovely cosy country kitchen where we are all sat round a large pine table drinking hot chocolate and chatting about our girls. Everyone is friendly and ready to give advice. There is lots of lovely humour, laughs, hugs and kisses for those that need it. And anyone who looks through the window or pops their head around the door is welcomed in, given a seat and a chicken to cuddle! Fantastic :D  :D  :D
Proud to be a 100% qualified, caring, encouraging, one more push, reassuring Midwife!
