Hello for the last 2 days I've managed to get behind tractors hauling trailers loaded with chicken manure, its blowing off the top of the trailers, does any one know if the trailers should be covered  due to Avian flu as the tractors are passing 2 chicken farms a duck farm and a Turkey farm ,the manures coming from a deep litter farm owned by a Pharmaceutical company   jezza

Hi Jez as I understand it any loads that are a hazard to other motorists or people loads of this nature should be covered when traveling on the public highway and the company concerned should be aware of that and its quite likely DEFRA  would or should be concerned about this sort of thing happening in your area with the avian flue  >:(
