My daughter has moved into a house with a patio that is in total shade. She wants to buy some pots and has asked for suggestions what to put in them.

Brain is a blank at the moment. Can anyone suggest things that will survive in a pot with no sun. Also has to be able to survive a 3 year old who likes watering things

ferns and hosta   we also do ok with perlogoniums in fairly shady area   good luck

Hydrangeas, and Hebes if the pots are fairly big. In smaller ones, Fuchsias and Begonias, hardy geraniums, (some have pretty leaves as well as the flowers.) Also bizzie lizzies and pansies/violas and don't forget the spring bulbs.
