You've had a good innings  :) but It's always hard to let go of things we've always loved doing, isn't it?

My neighbour has trouble bending down, and has some of those raised beds on legs (not cheap, but I think children clubbed together for a birthday or 'the word we cannot say' present.

Could that be a small possibility?
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

have 87 year old across the road, she has a gardener, but does trim a few flowers herself, the 97 year old neighbour has her son do the grass and awkard stuff, but she still does her greenhouses and hoes a bit.
Ask around about reliable, honest gardeners

What the cannabis leaf you’re growing there?

Gnome looks like he's already investigated the . . . (ahem) . . . medicinal properties of that herb. Possibly more than once!

There’s a lot you can grow, dugless, without having to run an allotment :)

My trough is at standing height.  Once you’ve persuaded someone to install and fill it for you the heaviest thing you’d need to lift is a hand fork.

Have you got a greenhouse, Gugless?

Yes, it may be a bit of an outlay, but there's so much you can grow in one, from onions to toms to cuces etc, and have just as much gardening interest with so much less graft, which I will certainly want when I get to your ripe young age!

Goferit young man!
