Definitely follow up on Lardy's suggestion.
My advice on new dishwashers: don't, if you can avoid it. This may not apply to Bosch, but many of the American-branded ones (Whirlpool, Maytag, Amana, Frigidaire, etc., EXCEPT General Electric) the inner workings are all made by the same manufacturer. There is a common part in them made of plastic, it warps over time due to dishwasher temperature, then the machine leaks. The plastic part is not available at any cost, boom, you need a new dishwasher. This was information provided to me by an appliance repair man that services those American brands, he is highly trusted in our area.
We currently have a G.E., it's OK, not fantastic.
If there's a repair man you trust, I suggest you ask if your Bosch is repairable. Unless of course you don't care for it and want a new one.
