Mild 17c , even a bit chilly first thing (7c) but sunny with a gentle breeze.  Duvet is back out on the line after I optimistically washed it yesterday thinking it would be dry by the evening.

Rather nice day today, hot and sunny. Took to the shade of the parasol about 3pm until 6pm when things started cooling. We're really not used to the heat anymore with no holidays in the sun for too long.

Woke up to a heavy dew, some cardboard boxes I'd hoiked out of the shed to take to the plots are now sodden   - so that's a bit of a nuisance.
It's a bright sunny morning though, and the breeze has dropped a bit, so feeling lovely so far

We're creeping around the "too hot to do anything" mark but still below the "far too hot" point. It clouded over yesterday afternoon which made things a little stuffy but it's blue skies and no breeze again so far today with uncomfortable temperatures forecast.  I see rain and plenty of is on the way for next week.  Anyone had the flood alert yet?
