Was woken at 0630 by the sound of yet another wheelie bin scattering its contents into the environment. 

According to my local weather station there was a gust of 57mph about that time, which is very unusual round these parts. Has been very mild (12C) and sunny, but I think we're about to get some rain to add to the jolly mix...

After the wind of last night and a power cut it's a lovely still morning but according to the weather forecast it won't last long.

Something went bang this around 04:00 and woke me up but I can't see any damage this morning  It's bright and sunny at the moment but there are still a few noticeable gusts and it feels considerably colder than the 5c it is. Not looking forward to Friday the forecast is for it to be worse.

Here it was gusty overnight, but nothing too bad. Now, It's 9C, sunny, with barely a breeze. The overnight low in the g/house was 7C.

Is this the calm before the storm? I'd best walk up the hill to the post office, this morning then

Wind howling around the house woke me at 3am and kept me awake until 7am Just managed to get to sleep so the alarm could wake me. 
Dry, quite calm and 6ºC at the moment.

All calm here, the sun is out, the sky is blue and it is like the weather is trying to pretend yesterday never happened.  We have take 2 tomorrow though, so not going to unbatten the hatches just yet

Yes it was! By the time I'd reached the PO there were some really strong gusts, one nearly knocked me off my feet, coming back, but luckily I grabbed a wall  I don't think I'll be venturing out again for a few days, looking at the forecast......

It's got that bad weather coming feeling out there now. Wind isn't too bad but I think there's some hail in the rain. Should start to get interesting in a couple of hours time. Everything is in 'storm mode' so fingers crossed.

Quiet overnight, bit of rain but nothing horrendous.  This morning it's windy but wheelie bins staying put, not as bad as it was last Tuesday but time will tell.
