The campsite for Reading Festival opened yesterday. No music until Friday but they all descend on the town as soon as they can.

Cue weather - rain on and off overnight and started raining heavily about 5-6 this morning. Been tipping down ever since. The garden is loving it but feeling a bit sorry for the festival campers.

We were promised rain, thunder and lightning over night.  We got 20 minutes light rain about 5.30.

Lucky you, we got nothing....
It's 19C and grey, and we still have the Amber storm warning until 3pm today, so hope we do actually get some

Well quite often my weather ends up with you later in the day, so fingers crossed

good steady rain most of the night and all this morning.  Doesn't feel very warm.  I am confined to the sitting room as I have the painter/decorator doing kitchen and hall.  This weekend "housework"   Mrs Bouquet

Grey and muggy with off and on drizzle, the type that makes things unpleasant but isn't enough to do any actual good.  We could really do with a good thunderstorm to clear the air.

Steady rain until about 11am.  Don't know when it started but it was raining when I came down at 5.30. Brightened up after that until about an hour ago when it went dark and started to spit again..

Noticeably cooler this morning at 12c and also a lot fresher. Patchy cloud, a bit of blue sky and a gentle breeze it looks to be a nice day.

Yes, it's cooler this morning, and the breeze has backed N/NE again, which helps....
Up to 18C now, but still need some more rain

17C, sunny, slight NE breeze.

No significant rain forecast for at least 10 days, so with the hosepipe ban starting here today I'm expecting my arms to lengthen considerably in the very near future!

A damp start with drizzle here, overcast and cool in the breeze. Saturday onwards looks pleasant. Most of the rest of the country has been declared a drought area, but Gwynedd is not. Pretty dry here though.

Looks set for a lovely day with sunshine - temp's not bad around 18ºC but there's an autumnal feeling in the breeze.

Mostly high cloud, just the odd patch of blue, 17C ,  meh! no sun, but no rain either

Cloudy but pleasant - reasonably warm at 20ºC, very calm and dry.
