Change of plan when I opened the beef slices, enough for the 2 of us  so that’s what it was (must label things in portion sizes. So the meatballs are for my lunch  :D

Smoked haddock and dauphonoise potatoes, a very small portion on my plate as cream is really affecting me at the moment.

The jacket spuds have started to spout so they need using, I hate to waste a large spud now. cauli/broc cheese  some fridge gravel and I probably open that tin of corned beef.

Our neighbour went fishing yesterday & gave us a filleted trout so that baked with Boulanger potatoes, peas, carrots & psb that needs using up. And then here’s pud of hm raspberry trifle if the custard is cold enough in a bit to go on the jelly either that or it will be deconstructed trifle

Yesterday was prawns and broccoli stir-fry in garlic sauce and some rice.

Today is cottage pie and it is ready made and in the fridge waiting to go.  I have stuff to do that will keep me busy and don’t want to arrive home hungry without a fast and easy answer  :)

Sheppards pie to use up some more sprouty spuds. Trying that frozen mince lamb to see if it's palatable without pouring a tonne of spices in to disguise it.   ::) Mixed veg and spoon standing as always.

I picked up a couple of reduced steaks in the Co op this morning :) It's a bit too miserable for salad, m'thinks - so  tray-baked spuds, onions, and peppers with them.

I make a gooseberry & mint jelly each year & a good dollop of that makes a nice addition to lamb dishes :)

We’ve got some roast chicken & pork lurking in the fridge so it’s all going in a hotpot tonight, plus there’s some baked beans & tinned toms lurking to so that’ll see them off as well & any other fridge gravel
