Mods, please move if appropriate. Haven't grown swedes for years but my OH used to make a lovely mashed carrots and swede in a white sauce, but the last couple of years or so the swedes have had no taste whatsoever despite everything he's tried. It seems they aren't ripe when they get on the shelves as they're a bit green on the outer edges. Anyone else found this and can anyone recommend a really good tasty swede I could grow next year?
