Hi Honey bird welcome to the forums  :D

Not sure about which tree's could be poisonous to chickens, but I know laburnum is to us. LINK

I've moved your post to the "Hen House" for you, perhaps you'd like to post on the "welcome" thread and introduce yourself, were a nosey lot, but friendly  :D

Hi Richyrich7, thanks for that, i thought the garden people would have more knowledge on the tree's.

I have been on the forum for a while under the name Little Miss Moffat but things got a bit mixed up so i thought i would register again, i sent a post to John but i have not heard anything as yet.
I have a lot of chickens and love reading the poultry messages and info, but i will be visiting the garden side a lot soon because we'r trying to move to the country and become a lot more self sufficent.

I doubt if any tree is really poisonous when its reduced to chippings I think its the leaves blooms and berries  that might be a risk when they are growing...
