None at all Rampant! We even have some carrots in that we planted late without a cloche that have not been effected. Beginners luck i guess!

Just ordered some over wintering onions and some spring cabbage so will update soon with more pics!

:D what a fine job you have done Glen in the past year well done  :D where did you get the plastic sheeting from for your carrotts,its a brill idea,sorry but i have only just seen them.last year i used fleece but it was a lot of messing about when you wanted to do any weeding.

There are men of wisdom. Do a little regularly and get fit the sensible way. It's coming along nicely isn't it and rewarding to see.

At least you have the winter to get it in order with manure, compost or whatever turned in and compost heaps started with whatever offerings you can round up.

Oh and time to get the shed sorted so that you have a place for a seat and a flask of tea!

You're unlucky though. I inherited an old garden seat so had somewhere to sit in the sun for starters.

Nogger, it was picked up from the local Builders Centre skip! Had a rummage and there it was! Happy days!

Annie, The carrots you sent me tasted fantastic thank you. In fact i still have some ready to cook in bags in the freezer!  :D
