King of the North Pepper
« on: August 06, 2021, 08:40 »
Hi everyone, hope your growing is going well!
I have an issue with my King of the North peppers. For some reason they've started to rot at the bottom. I'm not sure if it's a disease or whether it's a watering issue but any advice would be appreciated. I've added a photo to help.

Peppers can get blossom end rot (BER), similar to tomatoes (both solanaceous vegetables). The same factors that reduce BER in tomatoes also seem to help peppers, adequate calcium supply, adequate and even water supply.

They also often go like this if there is a small hole from an insect.

You could well find a small caterpillar inside.
