Hi
Any ideas on keeping a fox from my plot?

I am having to cover any thing i plant even my onions, which are doing well but when i came the other day they had been laid & rolled on.
Or sometimes it digs the barked paths.

The fox also has cubs.

Any ideas?

Thank you

Do you live near a zoo. Ive heard that lion poo is effective. If there isnt a zoo some garden centres sell it. Perhaps you could "scent"the area with your own wee in a watering can.

Hi i have used Jeyes fluid watered down around the borders of the plot.
Seems to work to a degree as they hate the smell.

ive been told by an old farmer that if you pee around your patch this will deter most animals, they smell humans so danger . Or there again he could be pulling my leg but its worth a try but don,t get caught ha ha   could be done for exposure
If the early bird gets the worm how come the 2nd mouse to the trap gets the cheese ??

well pee has many uses not least as a good compost heap activator - keep a old 4ltr water bottle at home and fill this, yes sounds gross but fine..... take it down the lottie and use either on the heap or water it around a bit - it def keeps off the odd fox....
