I read it might be worth removing flowers [may have been on here] from potato plants we are growing desiree
any opinions would be welcome  I think the idea is all the plants energy can then go to the tubers

Hello I asked one of Yorkshires biggest potato growers if he removed the flowers the answer cannot be repeated on this site  but he would like to meet the person who suggested the idea in the first place     jezza

No, never do it, waste of time IMO ::)
Though, some people who have small children, do remove any fruit that forms (they look like green tomatoes) because they are poisonous.
