Have just scarified lawns and ripped out some moss together with old grass. Will it be ok to put in in the compost heap with lawn mowings. Manage the heap ok but don't wan't moss on the veggie patch.

Moss doesn't break down in the compost heap, so you just spread it around the plot.

Hello try an experiment,if you use the no dig system use it on top of the cardboard then cover the moss with soil ,or make a separate compost heap and get the heap good and hot,I've scarified many lawns over the years and always compost it   jezza
