Hi all I were gonna plant my sweet peas in cups but they are see through will this effect the roots thanks

They aren't ideal but you can do as I did, and wrap a bit of newspaper around them to keep the light out, tie it on with a bit of string/twine. Sorted!

Hi,
 "The Young Grower" grows all his sweet peas in used plastic pint pots that are see through and does very well, search on FB for more info.

Or if you buy fresh soups,  those pots are also useful. They often crack in the bottom when you're piercing drainage holes, but that's OK
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

I use yoghurt pots, sometimes cut down to make a smaller pot.

The tall pots are particularly useful for things like sweet peas and sweetcorn, where you want a deep root run   :)
