Could be Mint. If it is, it will be difficult to dig out. I would dig as much as possible out and herbicide anything that grows back.

Looks like Willow Herb too

Yes, it can snap off easily at the base, so a fork or trowel is effective at getting it out.

I also think it looks like a willow herb. If it is varieties like rosebay creep and can send out sideways brittle roots a meter from the plant. Although this looks like a short variety.

Dig it out carefully! And don’t compost it
