Potato soil

Quick question. I’ve grown potatoes in a bag this year. Can I reuse the soil once I’ve pulled them all? If yes, where and what can I grow in it.

Yes

In my garden as the potatoes come out of a bag Purple Sprouting Broccoli goes straight in. I germinate the PSB in small pots so that they are ready and waiting. I have also done the same with kale.

Next year when the PSB is over, the soil goes out around the garden as a mulch and the potato containers get refilled with compost that we have made and the seed potatoes go in.

You can use it again, with just a little additional fertilizer, for anything except tomatoes and peppers, as they are in the same family as tomatoes...
I sometimes bag it up at the end of the season, and then use it the Spring for next years flower tubs and baskets.

we use our spent potato soil down the allotments on our raised beds not a problem for planting our brassicas crops
