Bug identification
« on: July 04, 2020, 19:04 »
Hi, got down the allotment this afternoon to find that the broad beans, that had already undergone a blackfly attack, we're now host to a bunch of bugs indulging in procreation!

Can anyone tell me what they are, and are they a problem?

I think I've added phots but not sure.

Soldier beetles and I would think doing more good than harm as the scoff aphids... and there was no shortage of blackfly  present.

Definitely something eating the black-fly, but the advice for blackfly on broad beans is to pinch out the tops - that would get rid of both
