Damn rodents
« on: May 27, 2020, 15:17 »
My lovely crop of radish is being decimated at a hell of a rate each night by some kind of rodent. I wouldn't have imagined that they'd go for those, but how wrong I am. I suppose trapping/poisoning is the only option now, for the first days I thought they would start to leave them after a bit, but no way. I hope it's not rats, I hate them, teeth marks look small though, so maybe not.

You could lay cardboard covered in soot near your radishes to catch the little beggers footprints.

Cheers,  Tony. ::)

Bought a spring door trap today, so maybe I can move them on to the open country and away from here. They will continue to eat the radish though, even the emerging ones have been affected.
