Heavy rain certain in Worcester now, starting at around 1am and going pretty much all through the day, happy days!
Well it's 7.30 here in  Worcester  and it's still not raining, just enough drizzle to settle the dust. Let's hope it's just been delayed
I was relying on your forecast Plot 1 ;)

Yep, just waiting for the drizzle to become something a bit more substantial ;)

Nothing here as yet but there is a band coming across Southern England. It should reach us at about 11.00. I'm trying to decide if today would be a good day to sit in a que at the tip. I have about a dozen barely liftable bags of garden rubbish to get rid of.

We've got the very light cloud, shown on the radar, but no sign of anything falling from it - so don't hold out much hope.
Would be great to be proved wrong, though  ::)

No rain up till now. Dark clouds approached and moved away just like one of those soft toy picking gambling machine... disappointment!
Hope it does rain sometime today or in next few days!

The Met Office rainfall radar implies drizzle is falling over Horsham, but I think the drizzle is evaporating before it can reach the ground, because it is still bone dry here, although cloudy and cooler.

Very, very light rain here this morning. Let myself off early morning watering but think I need to go to the plot soon.
Keep digging

The Man Upstairs is doing the watering for me today, so I'm having a day off at home, catching up on housework and cooking etc.  I just hope he got the memo about stopping when we've had enough!

Good news! The sky reluctantly squeezed out some drizzle today!  :)

Not quite such good news - only 5mm, although coincidentally that's exactly the same total as for the whole of May here!

Don't know what the 'summer stuff' in the garden will be making of the temperature, which at 11C is less than half what it was at this time only yesterday.
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

Very disappointing, the forecast keeps pushing the chance of rain later in the day, supposed to be 90% chance of heavy rain now.... just drizzle like all day. We NEED rain.

Barely more than a constant drizzle today, doubt it'll have helped at the allotment that much.

.

Thanks Mum for the utube fix.

Went to the plot this afternoon, there was enough rain to wet my glasses, that's all.

But it was worth it, a skip load of manure delivered from stables about 10miles away, it is classified as industrial waste and they would have to pay to dump it, I give the driver some vegetables as a reward and he is happy.
Also I dug again some more new potatoes, they are worth the trouble for their taste!

Cheers!

No rain today, hazy sunshine this afternoon, so had to water again after tea.
We've got a 50% chance over night but an 80% chance at 6am, so I'm keeping everything crossed

A small amout of rain overnight, enough to wet the ground, but the ground is dry again now.

We've still had no rain at all, and very little chance of any in the forecasts  :(
