No rain here for nigh on 12 weeks and no sign of any on the horizon. Watering with cans is such hard work so we go every day to the lotty and each patch takes a turn of a decent water.

Looks like we've got the worst of all worlds weather coming up for at least a week. Autumn in summer without enough rain to be useful. Cool and cloudy but mostly dry is useless.

Weather forecast all of a sudden is guaranteeing rain tomorrow for us so all pots and pans are going out in the garden tonight.

Like you al78, the forecast colder but drier weather after tomorrow isn't much help at all.

Heavy rain certain in Worcester now, starting at around 1am and going pretty much all through the day, happy days!

My local online weather station has just published its rainfall totals for May - 5.0mm (half the April total.)

Rain forecast overnight here too - I'm saying nowt, but if you don't see me tomorrow I'll be in the clink having been arrested for dancing naked in the garden!
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

Deep joy - we've got a 50% chance of rain for the 12 hrs of Thursday morning, with a maximum of 13C, only 10% chance of rain for a few days after that  ::)
Don't like the odds much tbh  :(

A chance of a thunderstorm tomorrow but i have just refilled the waterbutts to make sure ! :)
Forcast wet weather often skirts around Milford Haven and dumps it in the hills which is fine by me !
A bit of steady rain at night is needed !

I'm not planning to put out any washing between 1am tomorrow and tea time tomorrow - hoping that we'll get the rain that is forecast (mind you, if I do put some washing out, that'll guarantee rain, won't it … hmmm …   ::) )
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

.

No rain here in Gloucester, hot and sunny all day plants wilting in the garden, hose going for ages!

Not to worry, D DAY was supposed to be  the 5th of June! it always pours every year here around this time so i'm looking forward to a deluge around the 5th and 6th!
STOP, and smell the roses!

Hurray
Dare i say its raining here on Wirral. :D
Not a massive downpour just good old light rain which lets face it will at least soak into the soil.
Hopefully there will be rain elsewhere for you all today  :)

Sun is great but no good without a bit of rain

Well it's 7.30 here in  Worcester  and it's still not raining, just enough drizzle to settle the dust. Let's hope it's just been delayed
I was relying on your forecast Plot 1 ;)

Well to all those of you who haven't had the promised rain, it has been steady overnight in my area still pottering on. I might just leave going to the allotments to pot out the brassicas and broad beans till later if it clears up. Otherwise it's tomorrow, oh joy do the housework today then.

I resent doing housework even more when the weather is fine outside - at least with rain it's the lesser of two options!

Nothing here as yet but there is a band coming across Southern England. It should reach us at about 11.00. I'm trying to decide if today would be a good day to sit in a que at the tip. I have about a dozen barely liftable bags of garden rubbish to get rid of.
