Well it looks like the weather is improving and `i amwondeing about putting the celeriac out

Its my first year growing this at all and have managed 18/20 seeds grown So for all you connoisseurs  out there

Is it too early to put out and
How big do the plants need to be. Mine are around 3"
Also do the pigeons like them!!!

Hi Twood

I've left my out for the last 2 nights and plan to plant them out tomorrow.   I've deleafed them a couple of times in their pots & I'd say mine are about 3-4 inches just make sure you don't let the soil dry out they are seriously thirsty plants.

Transplanted mine about 3 weeks now and coming on no problems and of course I am just up the coast from you.

Hey Twood

You need to pull off leaves leaving 3-5 on the plant I assume its to encourage bulb growth.

I tend to leave the centre ones and remove the outer ones.  Hope this helps.  Its just really important to water water & water some more.  Good luck

thanks for the advice everyone.

i'll maybe put them out at the weekend I think it might be a bit cooler than tomorrow!. as they aren't massive I did wonder if I should wait but in the end they might be better in the ground.
