Hi,

I’ve got some celery seedlings, do they look big enough to plant out now and if so, do you think it’s the right time?

Also, I've read that celery likes moist soil, I have some grass cuttings available should I add this to the soil when planting as a mulch, should this be buried or just laid on top of soil?

I would say too early..although I am no expert, I only grew it from seed for the first time last year, but they did really well.

from what I understand they like moist conditions and lots of food.

yours are a lot bigger than mine. I wouldn't be able to pot mine on yet. 

if yours are big enough to separate and pot on, I would do that for now with fresh compost (ie nutrients). 

I planted mine out last year when they were about 6" high in troughs and they did well.  hope this helps, but like I said, im no expert.

Those look really good! I would still wait until you get frost free weather before putting them out.
