Potate shoot Cut

hi

I was running my Hoe to cut some on these tiny red steamed weeds, and i cut two potatoes shoots, what will happen now, will the pirate not grow?

I wouldn't give up hope. Most potato tubers have more than one 'eye', from which the shoots come.
