Is it your plant ?   Could it be a climbing hydrangea ?

Early morning frosts are common this time of year and are gone by the time we rise.  Could have had the fresh leaves nipped.

If not frosted or dry, as the plant is in a container is there a possibility of vine weevil? Not sure of the ID, sorry.

could be a lilac. My cherry tree leaves droop even after rain. Plant might need a good water daily as it is in a pot
