Muddled seedlings?!

....a little help?

I have tromboncino, patty pan, turk's turban, and atena seedlings....they were all nicely labelled but no more. Disaster.

I was planning on planting them out in various places - tromboncino climbing up a frame. Now I have no idea which is which as all seedlings look the same.

Any advice...

Theyre about 4 or 5 inches tall, sown last month.

I think I may grow them on in pots a little longer and see if any of them screams - TROMBONCINO at me.

Very annoying - and my own fault. Oh well.

If it makes you feel better, I did this 2 years ago with all my squash as well - I used what I thought was a permanent marker but it was not! I only worked out what some things were once they were nearly mature! Same issue with my tomatoes which has resulted in me having some I'd bought on a whim at fairs that I've saved seed from as 'large yellow \ orange tom, medium pink tom and yellow pear!

It's a good learning experience! You probably still have time to re-sow the trombo if that one is critical re climbing.
