Be glad I'm not dugless with all those bricks to move.

Housework needs doing; back garden needs attention; I could do with a day off! :)

Being serious, amazed how many people were at the shops. Not just Tesco but others also had lots more cars in the car parks than I expected to see.

It was a big shopping day yesterday - way busier than I have seen it for a while.  I got stuck on the shop door for a while to restrict access, but everyone was completely fine about it and very nice  :)  They were happy shopping, so not many big trolleys, but lots of folk buying treats and BBQ stuff and making the most of a bad situation.

Today I have my own version of mega excitement  :D  A day off whoop whoop  :D  Off to the plot to play with strimming edges, planting out brassicas and watering on the agenda.  Then back home to clean the chickens out and sow seeds.

Nice lunch/tea planned of chicken with asparagus from the garden and greens from the plot.  I may even go mad and make a crumble.  I have a bottle of vino collapso for a glass or two this evening  :D

Sounds pretty good to me  8)

Today will be spent replacing the brake pads on the workhorse.
Should only take an hour, for someone who knows what they're doing, so it could cut across lunch, and afternoon tea

First side took an hour and a half, second side, well I've put in my application for pit crew for McLaren.
I can now put "experienced mechanic" on my CV.

All I seem to have done today is absolutely nothing!

Fire now lit, and probably an hour of 'The Duchess of Duke Street' will make tomorrow a new challenge - hope so...

I was hoping to attack the ironing pile as rain was forecast,as son was staying home with the children, but hey ho all change, I had the children all day whilst they all went to the new house, so nothing other done but child care.

Went out to get the eggs from the chooks and we both went for drive down to the postbox with the book orders but otherwise stuck on the computer. I was scanning pieces for the new book, correcting cropping etc.
Losing the will to live after a bit.
I also did some accounts work - rough calculations of how much we've got in the business, what we need to put aside for the tax man and so forth. Could be better but it could be a lot worse - it must be awful for publicans, restaurant owners and so forth. No customers, no idea what's coming. In a nutshell, I'm very grateful to be where we are.

I wiped some of the units down and did a mountain of dishes. I feel buried by them.
Not sleeping again so I'm shambling about going nurrrrr? In a rather stupid manner.

Tomorrow is putting in the onions and cabbages at the allotment. Husband may measure shed up for felt.

Any tips for re felting?

Allotment day, bring up water, plant out seedlings. Cabbage, onions, more onions, shallots and more shallots and big flat onions. Water plants, bit of a weed if we have time. Husband will stuff some pond liner under the felt so it's not bare boards up there and measure for to re felt it. Water plants outside in the garden, bring back the bamboo canes?

Prove for more part sourdough country loaf this evening. Freeze a portion of that curry.

Sort out todays poetry production for the walking football lads (its our clubs birthday today, 5 years), we have a whatts app group and I am the Punk Poet reciting poetry bringing culture to our group  ???

Make Tea ready for the Mrs returns from work.

Depending when the wet stuff arrives might get some time on the plot.
Punk isn't dead...it's underground where it belongs. If it comes to the surface it's no longer punk...it's Green Day!
