planting a gooseberry bush

we decided to replace our fruit bushes to a new plot I've just bought a couple of gooseberry bushes Hinnonmaki Red' so
Q planting it says on the planting guide should be sheltered from strong winds and frost free so as these bushes are to be planted in an allotment bed I was thinking about putting them in a fruit cage together with red and black currant bushes I ask about these variety as I haven't grew this desert variety before only the green type and advise will be much appreciated how its best to set out a fruit cage
