Chickens and ivy
« on: June 05, 2019, 10:33 »
My granddad lost another chicken today. A neighbour recently trimmed his ivy and my granddad is wondering if fudge got hold of some.

Could this have caused fudge to pass away?

I know ivy is poisonous but then so is rhubarb leaves and the chickens love them.

Any advice welcome.

I don't think it's poisonous to chickens, but it's a rather bitter taste so they would probably avoid it anyway.

This says it's poisonous, so better safe than sorry.
