Free To A Good Home
« on: November 05, 2018, 15:07 »
I'm looking to re-home a 2 1/2 year-old Red Star hybrid layer.

Maude has been successfully re-homed.  Thanks for reading.

Maude is a small chestnut red layer who is very inquisitive and friendly.  She lays very large cream-coloured eggs.  She has just completed her first moult and is looking very pretty.  I bought Maude in September 2016 as POL from "Charlotte's Poultry" near Bristol.  Maude is, and has always been, very healthy.  She was vaccinated and has been regularly wormed with Flubenvet.

Maude has been part of a small domestic flock and has enjoyed free-ranging in the garden except when Avian Flu restrictions were in place.

I only have Maude and a very elderly speckledy left in my flock and I don't want to keep a single hen or add any more due to other commitments.

Maude currently lives in Swindon so a new home somewhere local would be ideal.

I would deliver locally if required.

Thanks for reading and I hope somebody can find room for her in their flock.
