Long runner bean
« on: September 09, 2018, 16:51 »
I won the long runner bean category at a local show. Someone promptly stole my winning bean, presumably for the seed. I'm a touch upset to say the least. They will reveal themselves next year if they grow them on.

Yes, it was green, inedible and almost 27 inches long... oh, you mean the culprit. It'll be one of the usual suspects.

That’s bad, have you got more seed? Someone stole some winning tomatoes from our show this year & the owner was understandably upset. I hope we don’t have to take drastic action to stop any repeat next year

Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

A person entered a "Dow Gauk" pod as a runner bean in our local show,  AND HE WON THE CLASS!
