Soy beans

My french beans are giving up the ghost already, but the soy beans seem to like the heat.  I grow them for edamame, rather than dry beans.

I have Elana on the plot and they are doing well with lots of pods setting.  I also have 3 plants of black soy beans in the greenhouse.  I had a lot of trouble getting any to germinate, so decided they could stay inside and be pampered.  With the challenging weather this year, the risk of losing them seemed too high and I want enough to try and then give me seeds for next year.

The black soy beans are way taller and need something to limb, but the pods are there    Yellow leaves are normal - soy beans pull energy from their leaves for pod production.  The are pretty defoliated by harvest time.
