I had a few first early left so instead of throwing them I put them down in a put in the greenhouse until I needed the space not bad I suppose

My first crop was Winterkefe mangetout grown in the greenhouse. I'm glad they're now finishing as the toms need the space they're in

I am eating my first spuds as well. Started on the 21/1/18 in bags. First time I've started them that early, so am pleased  Also, had my first chilli's the other day

We are about to eat ours now didn’t have them yesterday think my peppers won’t be long either

Don't have a greenhouse or Poly tunnel, so have to rely on what grows outside. So only had radishes so far and some small salad leaves. Early potatoes will be a couple of weeks yet I think, although I did have half lift one plant to see (impatience!) and took a few large marble size ones, which I will try. 
Every thing else has been slow to get going. Peas are very slow, but moving on well now.

First harvest yesterday. Planted over the allotment 9th March and undercover or up-cycled plastic roofing. Probably a week or so too early as quiet a few only marble sized. Also had very little rain down here. Very tasty all the same.

The first early spuds (Pentland Javelin) are behind the seconds (Kestrel).  Both bought from the same place.

I was a late starter this year because of being away for most of the winter. I'm not growing any veggies this year that won't crop by the end of the summer because I shall be off again in October. My first crop has been my kale. Everything else is weeks away!

Apart from spinach, salad, rhubarb, which we've been cropping for some time, just had our first piucking of outdoor, over-winter broad beans

Did scrape the top of a few pots and bags of the charlotte potatoes and had had over the weekend.
Been picking for the last month or more loads of rhubarb and herbs - mint, oregano, parsley, chives, garlic chives and marjoram.
Had a nice load of french mix and other lettuce grown in the greenhouse. Also a pinch or two of the basil that is growing nicely beside the greenhouse tomatoes.
Also had a few bunch pickings of the first few Asparagus, but will be picking loads by this weekend, as the area is smothered with the little fellows now popping up

Meal fit for a king last night, steak with minted new potatoes and steamed asparagus, absolutely delicious Quite suprised that potatoes were ready as I had calculated middle of June, but tops were starting to look a little tired despite showing no signs of flowers. hopefully another 2-3 meals to come.

We are loving our polytunnels; Potatoes, beetroot, mangetout, peas, rocket, parsley, rocket and strawberries, with spring onions and radishes from outdoor beds (We have already eaten all the very early radishes  )

Good news Sunshine. I have now finished harvesting my greenhouse crops of new swift potatoes, onward peas, radish, spinach and lettuce. I just can't wait for my polytunnel that is going up near the end of the Summer. A whole new way of growing is my hope.
