Can I plant onions and garlic on my plot this year or am I too late ? I wanted to plant this year and harvest next

Only red and white onion and some garlic as ive never grown before and chomping at the bit to get something in my plot

If so whats best wilkos near me has got rid of all the onion sets and now only got seeds?
