Just picked teh last of the Brussels Sprouts and a few tops.
Last of the baby carrots too in patio pots, ready for a new sowing.
Also picked parsnips, leeks and chose some Maris Piper from the potato shed.

All with Roast Chicken.
Bought swede and a Morrisons Wonky cauli.

Just picked the first Rhubarb, yum!
With some custard.

Well, it was going to be pie (you inspired me!), but a not-very-well-OH means I'll park that idea for a bit and go for a nice risotto made with hm turkey stock and a few mushrooms chucked in.  I hope he will be fit for pie tomorrow.

Turkey risotto sounds like a nice gentle eat and rice does settle the stomach.  I hope he feels better soon  :)

Roast for me today and I've been digging again, so rhubarb crumble for pud.  I've earned it  ;)

OH's tum still a bit tender, so parked the pastry again and did jackets filled with the turkey and mushroom pie filling, together with runners and cauli cheese (leftovers!).  Seems to have done the job!   :)

Last night I picked up a couple of pies marked down in Morrisons - well at 50p it would have been rude to have left them there!  Add beans and wedges ...  quick dinner for tired peeps.

Tonight I am going freezer raiding for curries ... and add rice.
