Eglu suitable broody coop?
« on: August 30, 2016, 13:40 »
Hi everyone I haven't posted for a long time hope you're all well!

I'm considering getting some fertilised eggs for a hen I think is thinking about going broody and wondered whether an eglu is a suitable broody coop? When I got my latest lot of hens I added a new eglu and attached the run to the existing walk in run but none of them use it really and prefer to sleep in the run on wooden perches.  It would be good as I can block the run off from the other hens but just wondering if chicks would be able to get in and out?
