Tromboncino

Trying tromboncino for the first time and they are growing well, but I don't know how to proceed. Do you eat them like courgettes or do they need to be left to cure like squashes/pumpkins? Has anyone had any experience of these?

I grow them every year  :D I eat some of them young in the same way as courgettes but allow the later ones to ripen on the vine to use during the winter.

Thanks for the info, how do they store, like butternut squash I'm guessing?

The skins change from green to beige as they  ripen/harden. If stored frost free and away from damp they are some of my longest storing squash. The skin can sometimes go wrinkly but you can still eat them  :D
