Poor season so far.

Is anyone else having problems with onions?  Mine all looked fine, but within a couple of days developed a greyish overcast to the leaves, which now seem to be withering away.  Any ideas as to what this could be?

It seems that the weather this year has encouraged all sorts of problems and diseases that I've never seen before.

Thanks MoS,  I thought that might be the case.  Best get the food processor out then.
