Garden Pests

We all have trouble with slugs, snails, aphids, caterpillars, et cetera, et cetera, but we also have a big, black, woolly pest called Hugo.  I have been moving things around and clearing rough areas in the ground and it has exposed 'interesting' things to local nefarious characters so I have planted a little hedge.  This has attracted the attention of our own nefarious character who has nibbled two of the bushes down to the ground.  I have finished up covering them up with netting.
