I have a few strawberries on the plot that need to be moved, and some more that are in pots in a cold frame.
Is now (if it ever stops raining) a good time to plant them out or should I wait until spring. And should I be feeding them when I plant them?

Fortunately the lid to the cold frame blew shut so they are not drowning! and the plot is well drained.

Personally I'd just wait till its a little drier and then get them into their new position. Strawberries are pretty hardy plants - if you move them now(ish) and give them a little something to boost them you may well get a decent crop this summer.

Thanks Baldy I'll hang on to them till it stops raining then get them sorted out.

Am having to start again as my existing plants died - eaten by vine weevil  - so here's hoping for a good crop next year.
