Can anybody suggest a good design for a ladder to the coop.  My coop is 50cm off the ground and I have new ex-batts that will struggle.

(Hopefully) I've attached a picture of my current ladder.  Can it be modified to make it easier for the new girls.  Or what would be a good new design?

Fix a board underneath it and put a few more rungs in.

It will need more cleaning but the batts will manage it ok.
