Price of garlic

There's a good offer in October's Kitchen Garden magazine: 4 bulbs of extra early wight and tuscany wight for £6

I also bought some from wilkos the Germidour which were very good quality large bulbs which you cant go wrong for £2 for two good bulbs and ordered some online when it was free  postage and packing

I've also bought the wilkos garlic this year, plan to get it planted some time this week. 

Just a thought - As garlic doesn't need to be planted before December and this is the advice in most of the guides ('before Christmas' appears often) - Any seed bulbs on sale now will naturally be more expensive because they are leading the season. I quite expect the price to drop as more suppliers bring their product to market.
