coriander seeds
« on: August 30, 2015, 19:33 »
I have grown lots of corriander and left a patch to go to seed.  The seeds are starting to form. Can I use these for seed next year. If so how do I pick them do they need to dry out. Thanks

Leave them on the plant to dry out. Once the pods started going brown, I pulled the plants and hung them up to dry. When the foliage has dried, remove the pods and store as seed for next year or as coriander for use in cooking.

Once the seed has ripened I just scatter it around, and each year I get a few plants which is sufficient for us.
