I got mine for £10 from Toolstation but it was a few years ago. It's good, but like Aunt Sal says, wait for rain otherwise it will prang off the concrete-like soil and hit you in the head

Definitely wait to let some rain help you out a bit. If you try and use it on very hard ground, you'll find it very jarring on your joints.

You can buy them directly from the Chillington Company in Willenhall. Last year I bough a blade hoe, a Canterbury hoe and a slasher for £54. They are in constant use.
