Raspberry Query

Whilst clearing my new (extremely weedy) plot, I came across a small patch of raspberry canes. They are only about 2ft tall at most, fresh growth, no woody bits. The plot has been untended for about 4 months. How would I know if these are summer or autumn types?
I dont really want them where they ares o are they safe to move now or should I leave them until they die back?

Summer-fruiting ones tend to have a more woody cane as they fruit on last year's canes so they are either autumn ones or this year's new growth of summer ones. As they are only 2' tall I'd go for the latter and if they don't fruit then they are probably summer ones. I don't think it would do any harm to leave them as they are for this year.

I'd wait a month or 2 before moving them, preferably wait til they die back, either way, by then you'll know if they're Autumn ones cos they'll have fruited.
