poop question advice please

I am keeping an eye on poop with my birds as one seems to have problems.

Today I scooped up a walnut whip type poop and noticed that part of it contained something like a very small jelly fish, about the size of your small finger nail. I separated it, but forgot to get a photo duh .  There was nothing wriggling in it and it resembled a piece of intestine. Do chickens shed their insides from time to time??

Thank you new shoot. I am now confident it is not worms, more like intestinal lining as it had that sausage skin type of appearance. Yes a childhood friend of mine had a Butchers shop so I got to learn a lot from there
