 Would it be possible to move next years new shoots to another allotment

It is quite easy to put new shoots into pots and then move them to somewhere else. I usually dig up the green shoots that have popped up outside the borders, and put them into pots for transplanting.  They look pitiful for a few days but then perk up. That said, if you haven't figured out what is wrong with the plants at your current plot, it's probably best to leave them where they are.
